Clunker.

Here's a reconditioned ink sketch I did at the airport flying back from Mozambique a month ago.

It's growing.

The progress of a rambling ink piece I'm intermittently working on while uprooting my life...

Duper

Here's a fast-ish comicky drawing I did this morning. Apologies for the lack of posting, but things have been somewhat retarded between non-sleep deadlines and moving house, so hopefully I can get back on track now...

Running some tests.

Treading Lightly

Comic artwork is something I approach with extreme caution, mainly because I have so much respect for it. In fact it is probably the only medium I am terrified of fucking up, which may explain why it has taken me fifteen years to get to the point of production(and I'm still not there!). It was, however, the single biggest contributing factor in starting me along this career path, so it only makes sense that I pursue it to the point of proficiency.

So watch this space and give me hell if I screw it up.

Back on the horse.

I've been chasing some tight deadlines of late, so hopefully I'll be able to post more consistently in the near future!

Here's another quick scribble on the new Intuos in the meantime. Still loving this new tool.

More Tests.

Inking, inking. It's getting better, so bear with these in the meantime, they're early days.

Fresh Air.

Well, it's been a quiet couple of days as far as posting is concerned, but that's because I've been doing some good work away from the PC, which is never a bad thing!

Check out my website for what's been happening.

This sketch is basically a palette exercise, but it's a step in the right direction.
